LORD’S COMMANDMENTS

From the Apostle

1.

It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.

Acts 1:7

2.

Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:38

3.

God shows no partiality but in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.

Acts 10:34-35

He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead.

We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.

Known to God from eternity are all His works.

So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

If anyone among you thinks he is religious (faithful), and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this onés religion is useless.

Pure and undefiled religion (faith) before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

James 1:27

Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?

James 2:5

For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

James 2:13

17.

But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

James 2:20

18.

As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

James 2:26

My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray.

Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

He who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.

Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord́s body. For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.

Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
